The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser marks the return of this legendary nameplate to the US market after a brief hiatus. After a week of on and off-road testing, we experienced Toyota’s most capable SUV.
Performance & Efficiency
The new Land Cruiser features a turbocharged 2.4-liter hybrid producing 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. This replaces the previous V8, offering improved efficiency. We averaged 23 mpg combined – impressive for a body-on-frame SUV.
Interior Quality & Space
The Land Cruiser interior balances rugged functionality with premium appointments. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is intuitive, and material quality is excellent. The design pays homage to classic Land Cruisers while offering modern technology.
